Kenny Miller

Senior Vice President Digital Programming and Product

Kenny Miller was named SVP Digital Programming and Product at ABC Family in December 2014.  Miller is tasked with growing ABC Family’s digital audience and overseeing product development, design, and multi-platform content strategy across all of the network’s digital expressions. He also works closely with the Disney|ABC Television Group Digital Media Team and Business Development to create new business ventures and partnerships in the streaming, social, and mobile space. 

Prior to joining ABC Family, Miller is an investor in and Co-Founder of Kam.io, Inc, the creator of the Kamio social network and a leader in mobile creativity applications. The Kam.io team has created multiple #1 charting apps, including “Dead Yourself” for “The Walking Dead”/AMC and “Orange is the New App” for “Orange is the New Black”/Netflix.

Previously, Miller was Executive Vice Prseident and Head of Digital Product for MTV Networks, where he created technologies and processes to strengthen their worldwide digital busineses. He developed and implemented systems that grew global traffic by optimizing search, digital video, and integrated social networking.

Miller joined Viacom in 1992 as Executive Producer and Technical Director at Viacom New Media, working on video game publishing as well as Viacom’s  first interactive cable tests. He also led the development of digital products for Viacom’s stable of brands, including MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Pictures. While at Viacom Miller developed the first interactive music games for MTV, as well as the first uder-genreated content systems for Nickelodeon.

Miller has a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Northwestern Univeristy, and a Masters from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he also served as an adjunct professor.
